April 2005: Vantage Point's new Plasma Mount will be introduced this month. The new mount joins the top of the line and successful UFO mount. The new lower price Plasma Mount will retail for $199 April 2005: Vantage Point, manufacturer of premium audio/video support products, has partnered with Sharp and the Los Angeles Dodgers to take the premium seating areas at Dodger Stadium to unprecedented levels by installing high-tech equipment in each luxury suite. The state-of-the-art upgrades in the suites and newly renovated Dugout Club will include Sharp's 45" AQUOS flat-panel Liquid Crystal televisions and will each be mounted on Vantage Point's Universal Flat-panel mount (UFO). 52 UFOs have been installed at Dodger Stadium as part of the team's partnership with Vantage Point. "Installers have given us tremendous praise on the UFO because of the ease of use from specifying to wiring" says Vantage Point President Mick Mulcahey. "Our UFO mounts are a perfect fit with Sharp's LC-TV screens and we're proud to partner with them and the Dodgers on such an innovative project." The UFO is unsurpassed when it comes to ease of use and has been designed to make installations of flat-panel TVs and monitors a one person job. There is no need to pre-connect any wires since the UFO can be tilted forward far enough to enable access behind the monitor to completely detail the wiring and finalize the installation. In fact, the UFO offers the greatest adjustable forward tilt range available on the market. Once installation is complete, the UFO allows the monitor to be pushed back into the desired final position, angled or flat (a close 2 3/8" proximity to the wall), and secured for viewing.
